Just in case you were wondering if Microsoft has reserved the new Microsoft Windows exclusively for its Surface Pro then the new Huawei Matebook is here to challenge that. The Matebook which was recently announced at the Mobile World Congress 2016 (MWC2016) offers a brilliant display, all-day battery life and 6th-gen Intel Core M processor.
Huawei MateBook comes with an optional water-resistant keyboard offering a key travel of 1.5mm and a spacious glass trackpad for transforming into a laptop. The Matebook sports a 12-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,440 pixels. The screen supports the use of an optional MatePen, a stylus with an elastomer tip and supporting 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity.

Delving into the specs, the Huawei Matebook looks like one that will deliver a snappy performance. It is powered by the latest Intel Core M processor (up to Core M7). The dual-core CPUs deliver speeds of up to 3.1 GHz paired with up to 8GB of RAM
To further enable fluid performance, zippy solid-state drives of up to 512GB capacity are provided for storage. The Huawei MateBook will run on either the Home or Pro edition of the latest Windows 10 operating system.
Photography is not left out as the Huawei Matebook adds in a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. You also get a fingerprint sensor and dual speakers. Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac MIMO are provided for wireless connectivity.
