Home Screen Customization
Unlock your device and go to the home screen of your phone. After that, you tap and hold on an empty spot. Here there will be three options, including changing the wallpaper, adding widgets, and desktop settings. It’s no doubt as the first two are so useful and third one lets you disable Google apps and make something changes.
If you feel disturbed by the blue light while you are using your phone at night, simply go to ‘Settings > Display > Night Light’. Here, you can turn the light on or off, or adjust the intensity of light, or set it to turn on automatically, depending on your liking.
If you like, you can choose any dark wallpaper and your apps drawer and shortcuts will then change to dark to match the theme.
Now Playing– Music Recognition
This feature can recognize the song or tune being played close your Pixel 2. It will then show the name of the song as well as the artist at the bottom. Interestingly, the feature works offline. Simply the inbuilt Google Assistant on your device and you can launch this app by pressing on the sides or long pressing on the Home button.

Google Pixel 2 Tricks
Google Lens is a new feature on Pixels 2 that can show the details of your photos. Simply open a photo in the Photos app, then select the Google lens logo and you will see all information about objects.
Motion Photos Feature
When you are capturing something in the motion state, the camera on Pixel 2 will also record a short video. If you want to see it, open Photo app and then save it as a still image or a Motion photo. But you will then lose the video. If you want to turn the feature on or off, simply tap the Motion button available at the top of the camera app.
Access To Developer Settings
To turn on the developer settings, head to ‘Settings’, and then select ‘About Phone. Here, scroll down to the bottom and tap 7 times on the Build number. After 7 taps, you will be able to see the developer settings.
Receive Your Calendar And Travel Information
There is a new feature in Google Pixel 2, called ‘At a Glance’. It will allow you to receive your calendar entries as well as travel details from Google at the top of your home screen for you to easily access to them. You just press and hold the wallpaper and then choose the ‘Home Screen Settings’. Here will see the option to enable the information.
