First Pure Android Phone From Nokia Revealed – Nokia C1

Nokia has once dominate the smartphone market, thanks to their outstanding Symbian phone series that runs the Symbian platform, until it was marched by the Giant Apple’s iPhone that runs iOS and the Super power Google’s Android in smartphone war I 🙂 However, Nokia survived!

There have been rumors that Nokia is coming back to smartphone market, categorically to Android market after the Company suffered a set back in their previous release of low-end Android phones which runs a modified Android version – the Nokia X and Nokia XL, which experience they deliver is not near that of a  pure Android device.

Back in 2011 when Microsoft signed a deal with the Finland-based Company to use Microsoft Windows Phone operating system on future Nokia mobile devices. 2 years later after which Microsoft announced the Nokia’s mobile phone business was acquired with a deal worth of US $7.17 billion, it was revealed that a covenant not to compete(CNC) was imposed which has prevent Nokia from manufacturing its own handsets for a period of time.


Nokia C1 leaked

The above photo is one of the leaked photos from a China source that backs the rumors that Nokia has a new Android smartphone in work, called “Nokia C1” it is expected to run the latest Android OS, Android lollipop, It will be the Finnish tech company’s first device running a pure version of Google’s Android operating system. The Nokia C1 reportedly to be a high-end smartphone features amazing specifications such as a 5.0-inch HD display of 1280 x 720 screen resolution with an unspecified but great Intel processor powered with 2 GB RAM, it’s camera is rumored to have a primary camera of 8MP and secondary  camera of  5MP.
With the details seen so far, i think Nokia really mean business with the new Android phone. For all Nokia fans out there, this is a great news for you.
