Windows 10 comes with lot of features, here are settings and features you should change for better experience with your new windows.

#1 Schedule Restart

Do you also hate your computer restarts by Windows update? the good news is that you can tweak this on windows 10 by forcing your Pc to schedule a particular restart time, you should visit this settings in your windows 10 settings,

To do this, go to Settings > Update & Recovery > Windows Update > Advanced options now select the option “choose how updates are installed“and choose  “Notify to schedule restart”.

#2 Notifications settings

Windows 10 comes with smartphone-like notification; app notifications, windows tips, lock screen notifications and the likes, but if you think this is not necessary, you can disable all this notifications by going to Settings > System > Notifications & Actions , then off the notifications you wish to disable

#3 Bring back Start menu

Unlike in PC where Windows display a Start menu instead of full screen screen, tablet does not but if you are using tablet and you want this start menu, just go to Settings > System > Tablet mode, then turn tablet mode off

#4 Cortana settings

You can turn on “Hey, Cortana” on your Windows 10 for voice-activated  personal search assistant, to activate Cortana, go to Search > Settings, under Respond best, select To me. now help Cortana learn your voice by repeating six phrases to her.

#5 Assign default apps and programs

Assign a default app/program for your music, videos, email, photos, web browser, maps, calendar and the likes. To assign this, go to Settings > System > Default apps.

#6 Sync settings

Do you know Windows 10 sync your password, settings, themes, notification and the likes, if you don’t want this, you can turn off this, just go to Settings > Accounts > Sync your settings.
