According to Samsung, Galaxy S5 has a 5.1-inch display HD screen and a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, the new camera features include advanced auto-focus speeds for taking pictures quickly, real-time High Dynamic Range (HDR) preview mode, and other tools and effects to edit photos and video after you’ve captured them.
The Galaxy S5 can transfer more data faster through its USB 3.0 connection, which is handy for those who want to expand their storage with a micro-SD card of up to 64GB. And as expected, the smartphone will come with the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.
Like that of iPhone 5S, the built-in fingerprint sensor will allow users to unlock their phones with a fingerprint scan which will also act as password protection for PayPal payments, and also it supports many mobile wallets include the google wallet.
The new smartphone includes a health monitoring app, S-Health the app tracks meals, heart rate, and workouts while offering nutritional planning and location tracking.

Samsung is to include a faster Wi-Fi and “extensive” 4G LTE support for US carriers: AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, MetroPCS, and U.S. Cellular in the galaxy s5.
